Black Zaitoon Restaurant
About This Spot
Stepping into Black Zaitoon Restaurant along New Hanna Road in Quetta is like entering a warm, unpretentious local haven where the hum of friendly conversation and the inviting scent of spices blend effortlessly. The pace here feels welcoming but casual, a place where gatherings drift naturally between shared plates and easy smiles. It’s not a place that rushes its guests; instead, it invites you to linger and savor the moment.
The atmosphere carries a sense of quiet conviviality—best suited for catching up with friends amid the low buzz of everyday life. The space feels comfortable rather than formal, with an authenticity that resonates in both the decor and how the staff engage with diners. While it might lean toward a livelier crowd in the evenings, there’s a genuine warmth in the attention and care woven throughout the experience.
The menu flows like an exploration of flavors that balance familiar comfort with a touch of local flair. The pizzas come alive with fresh toppings and a rich, tangy tomato sauce, creating a laid-back yet satisfying experience. Meanwhile, the shawarmas and reshmi rolls bring aromatic spices and tender, flavorful meats—each bite a reminder of the regional influences that shape the kitchen’s identity. It’s not just about food here, but the shared feeling of comfort it brings to the table.
Many who visit find themselves returning for the inviting, down-to-earth vibe that steadily earns its place as a neighborhood favorite. While it may feel like a spirited spot to meet up with friends, those seeking a quiet or family-focused dining might find it a bit bustling. Still, Black Zaitoon holds a special spot for those who appreciate a meal crafted with heart, served with genuine kindness, and enjoyed in good company.

Black Zaithoon Restaurant has become one of my favorite places to eat because it consistently delivers great taste, friendly service, and a comfortable atmosphere. I gladly give it 5 stars overall. The food deserves a full 5 stars because everything I have tried so far has been fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The service also gets 5 stars; the staff is polite, quick, and always attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere earns 5 stars too, as the place feels clean, welcoming, and relaxing. One thing I personally love the most is their soup . I mostly order it every time I visit, and it has an incredibly nice and comforting taste. It’s not just tasty, but also very affordable, which makes it even better. You feel like you are getting great quality for a very reasonable price. Overall, Black Zaithoon Restaurant is highly recommended.

Nice place to have a gathering with friends but not good for family
